Underbelly Pictures/diagrams

we have a 2009 Cardinal 5er and I need to do some work on the black water tank cable. Do any of you know where I might find either pictures or diagrams of the under belly configuration before I start removing panels? (3100 RK)

Not sure if you would be able to find them, but on my newer Cardinal, the black tank valve is maybe a foot or so upstream from where the 90 elbow is to connect the black hose to. I had the dealer do some valve work, and they cut a "trap-door" in the coroplast from the outside edge, inward about 12-18", and about 3' wide to just expose the area where all 3 of my tank valves are located. Afterwards, you can use some gorilla tape to seal the cuts back up.

BTW, after two years in a row of cable problems, I removed the cables in favor of electric valve actuators. Solved my problems.

appreciate that info. I had been considering electric valves, only on the black though. The other two seem to work fine, but I struggle mightly with the black every time.

I put a valve on the outlet where you hook up the sewer line, no more surprises

I've done that too, because the tank valves are so far back, no matter how long you let them drain, the next time, there is always a bit of waste.

My opinion, if you decide to pull the trigger, do all of them. you wont be disappointed. might as well do them all while you have the belly opened up.
