Put water in holding tank, a couple days ago and we just set up for the first time, with a brand new 3950TZ. No water at campground yet, so essentially we're dry camping. I set the levers in the correct position, to get water via pump, and water comes shooting out the hose inlet, where city water would go. HEEEELLPPP! Brand new and nothing but problems.

Remove the screen and washer and use your finger or small screwdriver to are fully tap that check valve and see if you can get it to pop back out in place. If it doesn't want to fix itself, you may have to remove it and replace that part. Not too bad of a job as long as you can get to the backside ok.

If you cant get it to reset and stop leaking, you can temporarily screw a 1/4 turn hose shutoff (made to screw on the end of a garden hose) into the city water port. Simply screw on and close the valve via the little knob/lever.

It will keep the water from backflowing out the port when your pump is on.
