Water pump location

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2016 Cardinal 3825fl. Does anyone know where the water pump is located? The unit is brand new and the pump will not activate on demand. There is water in the fresh water tank and the city water is disconnected.

I am waiting on a response from the dealer and from Forest River but haven't heard from anyone yet.

I'm pretty sure either a valve is closed or the pump is disconnected. It should be easy to tell if I knew where to look.

Inside your storage compartment on the side where your water hookups are look at the carpeted wall it hooks to. There are screws top bottom and sides of that carpeted panel. Remove those screws and pull the panel to the side. Your water pump should be right behind the panel on the floor. Check out your water connections while in there.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. I know right where you are describing. When I get back to the unit tonight, I'll take the panel off for a look.

Update: I took the panel off and found a couple of wires that were disconnected. I spliced them together and now the pump runs. Whoo hoo. While I was in there I noticed the filter was leaking so that got fixed too.

Really? Makes me want to open it up just to inspect!

This is off topic, but since you know this RV, do you know how the Power Control System works? I push and hold the button and I get 5.5 amps used and 0 amps on all the components whether they are running or not. This reading doesn't change no matter what's running.

Haven't made it as far as the power control system yet. Knew where the pump was because I had loose water connections behind the docking center.
Checked mine and it is reading the same as yours. On the pdi they told us that the power control system recognizes the system you are plugged into and if on 30 amp or lower will automatically drop out appliances based on the amount of power you have. First to go is water heater as it has the propane option. And then so on down the list.
Still working on water issues and a bad propane detector.
