Awning locks?

We just purchased a used 2015 Phoenix 32RE. Cannot seem to figure out why awning will not come out. Father went to look at camper before we purchased and he said awning came out. Are there locks on the awning we don’t know about? if so where would they be? If there aren’t locks why wouldn’t it be coming out? Fiancé says when he pushes button it clicks but the awning doesn’t move. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are no locks on electric awnings. Do you have the camper plugged into shore power? Is the RV battery fully charged?

EDIT: Never mind... missed the "push button part."

You might try pulling on an awning arm while pushing the button.

There was a thread here this week with the same complaint. (clicks but don't move) They tore it apart and the motor was locked up.
