Back up camera

I am picking up my new Shasta Revere 25BH on Monday!

I seem to remember a bracket on the rear that looked like it may hold a backup camera. So what does "camera ready" mean? Is there a specific camera I have to buy? Is it prewired or for wireless? What are the chances it will be viewable in my Ford navigation screen?

Yes, I sound like a kid in a candy store and I appreciate any info you can give me.

Cannot find any docs but it looked like a furrion mount on RV trader. If it is they are 4 screws and a plug to wire them. Get the observation camera as it has stronger RF. Usually the full kit with the case is cheaper than the camera only setup. Still plug and play.

I just bought a small suction cup from hardware store and stuck the monitor on my rearview mirror because the one it came with was too big to do that. Stuck to the windshield just fine.

Best of luck with your new trailer!

I just bought XLR Thunderbolt 413 (2017) and my backup camera does not work. Seems to be a recurring issue. Other post say their 34ft unit is nearly too long. My unit is 44.5ft. Furrion has not returned my call. What's your experience?
