Grandkids give a thumbs up to the Shasta 18bh

First grandkid visit in the Shasta. They loved sleeping in the bunks.

Stayed at a nice lakeside campground in Kentucky.

We alternated on an Outdoor Ukulele and a Canjo (single string diatonic scale), and a teeny djembe.

That's great to many kids are interested in watching TV and playing video games....I asked my 12Yr old grandson if he would rather go camping or play videos games there was a pause and then he said probably play video games

We love our Shasta Oasis 18BH too.

Any modifications done to yous yet?

We're looking to install awning light strips? Have you looked into doing this yet? We're just not sure how to hard wire them into the electrical system on the trailer.

Haven't seen the need for awning light strips - the yellow outside light is fine for me and I have a plug in light strip for when we camp with electricity if needed.

I would like to have an outlet at the head of the bed (by the emergency window), so one mod will be to put another AC & DC plug at the other end of that overhead cabinet over the bed.

I found that my mobility has declined from last year and I had a surprisingly hard time getting into bed from the foot of the bed. A thrift store two-step stool was a good five dollar investment and fit perfectly in that little space between the door and the shelf.

We took our 11 year old grandson camping. 2 days at Big Bear Lake and 2 days at Pinecrest, CA. He had asked me to bring the Roku or Nintendo but he was on electronics restrictions for the duration of his visit. We didn't bring any DVD's and opted to skip RedBox. At Pinecrest we were dry camping so no video there. He adapted quite well to swimming and dog walking.
