Smile It was her first time

We took our Shasta Oasis 18FQ out on her maiden voyage this past weekend to Highlands Hammock SP in Sebring Florida. It was only a 200 mile round trip for 2 nights. We had a blast with very little issues and learned a lot.

We had to boondock over the 4th weekend because the campground was full. This is all they had left. Not bad...eh?

I was feeling bad because I have to go to a wedding this weekend, and won't be camping. (DW's side of the family) However, I sucked it up, told myself it will be fun, and we can camp another weekend. Now, I see all these awesome pictures, and I' depressed again!

I'm sooo jealous! Due to health issues, we've only been able to take our new camper to a State campground less than 10 miles from home for just one night. One of our kids & his family will take it this next weekend. But .... Next Friday it will be our turn. Finally!!! Can't wait! I'm so glad you had such a great first trip!

That is the type of campground we love and we we prefer state and national parks over commercial campgrounds. The photo shows the amenities we love!
