Just about ready!

Hi all. Just got back from looking at a '15 Shasta Phoenix 33ck. Just sold my 06 Montana and we are getting very close to hitting the road. The Shasta we looked at was purchased new in July of '16. It was taken from the lot to an rv park and was hooked up and hasn't moved since-about 8 months. Still has about 4 months of warranty left. It has traveled about 50 miles in its lifetime so far. I know I need to check the 12v side of things really well, anything else I might want to look at? It only has a small house battery I will be replacing with 4 6v... we boondocks a lot. Seems very solid but not sure if it's been put to the test on the road yet. We will be full timing in it. Thoughts?

My only thought is to let you know(in case you didn't)that the remaining factory warranty is not transferable.

I would test everything out to make sure it all is working right. Enjoy your camper!

Just a follow up. We did end up buying the Shasta Phoenix 33ck. Pulled it home last Saturday in some pretty gusty winds, about 70 miles to my house, and it pulled like a dream. Have gone over everything and all seems good. Will be taking it to Port A next weekend for a test run. 4 days on the beach, no hook ups. Just replaced battery with 4-6v for a little extra juice. 200w solar next. Looking at inverter, not sure yet though.

After getting all the problems fixed or close to it, I still love the floor plan of my 33ck, the Cocktail Cottage
