It is the Revere 26tbqb, around 6200 lbs. Of course I pulled it home with my Dodge Durango. The Durango handled it very will. It has the 5.7L Hemi with the factory towing package. Rated to pull 8950 lbs. We have the Reese cam sway and leveling control on it. Looked at many RV's and decided that the Shasta Revere was the best for the price plus had the awesome 3 bunks stacked on top of each other. Great floorplan in my opinion.

Nice setup, I had an 07 Durango and it couldn't tow our Revere for anything, I had to trade it in for a Silverado 1500.

Nice TT, yeah the floor plans are nice, we pur 5 of us in there with room to spare.

123, what kind of setup did you have on your Durango? Did it have the 5.7L or the smaller Hemi? Only pulled mine for about 40 miles yesterday, but we live in the foothills of North Carolina so I hit several inclines and it seemed to handle in pretty well. Also, the dealership we bought from spent about 2 hours setting up the camper and the Durango go that go the vehicle and the camper stayed level after being hooked up. I think this helped alot. We traded in a 2003 Keystone Cabana Hybrid and the Shasta pulled just as well was it did believe it or not.

Going to stock up the Revere this afternoon and pull around some more. I hope the Durango can handle the addtional weight. Pretty sure it will be alright. The empty pull was no problem.

I have 1000lb round bar WD hitch from Ultra Fab and a single friction sway bar. It was quite windy yesterday when I brought the trailer home (as I'm sure it was for you in Kingston too ... I'm just down the road in Kanata/Ottawa) and there was definitely some sway (enough that my F-150's automatic sway control kicked in ... worked quite well to dampen the sway). I am planning to try adding a second friction bar to see if it helps. If not, I'll look into a Reese dual cam or Equalizer.

Otherwise, I was quite impressed at how effortlessly the F-150 Ecoboost was able to pull the weight of the trailer (7200 lbs unloaded according to the yellow sticker). I hardly noticed it at low speeds. It was noticeable at higher speeds, and the truck felt like it was working above 90 km/hr.

Dave.

@bagged123, Durango had plenty of power for the tow. I could tell I had more weight behind me though and the suspension on the Durango sat a little lower, but overall I would say that it was acceptable. I may have the dealership do the setup again on the Reese dual cam and equalizer before I head to the beach just to try to get the Durango closer to level again.

First long trip (around 250 miles). Staying at Lakewoods camping resort at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Durango average 9.5 miles to a gallon on the way down. A little less than I expected, but still better than my brothers F150 and other brothers Chevy 2500.
