boubou, that is really a great looking trailer......I like. The truck and trailer look sharp together.

The hitch setup looks good, with a slight bend on the spring bars, and plenty of clearance between the spring bars and dual cams. I have a problem with that because my trailer is set up with the coupler on top of the trailer tongue....but that is a whole nudder story.

1 suggestion would be to have a more direct route on the emergency break-away cable for the brakes. I appears that the cable winds around from 1 side of the tongue to the other, going around the landing jack, over the electrical umbilical, and around the coupler. You want to make sure that the cable pulls out of the break-away device, instead of the cable breaking if the trailer ever disconnected from the truck.

Because I didn't want my break-away cable hanging down where it could get snagged, I have 2 large cable ties around my tongue frame and use them as a guide to keep the cable out of the way. The cable has pretty much a straight shot from the break-awy device to the truck hitch.

Great idea about the cable. Never thought of that. Of course, I have no experience in towing so. I learn a lot from you guys
Thanks!

Nice setup, we looked at that model, but with 3 kids wouldn't work for us.

How you like those anti-sway compared to the tension ones? I'm running the tension ones on my 27BHS, but I'm seeing more and more guys using what you have, how you like them?

We've never towed anything before, so nothing to compare with.
We've only gone on two small trips so far but have felt no sway, of course, our trailer is short and heavy with heavy tongue weight.
Easy to hook up to trailer.
Only problem so far is that the set screws on the dual cam - helping hold cam bracket up -have stripped. So looking to get new ones in and probably weld tack the corners of the bracket.

yeah but they're crappy cell phone pics, I'll take some good ones over the weekend and post up here.

I hear you on the weight, these trailers are heavy, one of the heaviest I've towed since the Prowler. mine has a gvwr of 9300 and 6300 dry, though I'll never get that heavy do to I don't run with full holding tanks at all and we mostly pack clothes, for long trips. Though I can tow it fully loaded, but after awhile the hills in the NE start to suck wind.

What is your tow vehicle?
What other tt did you have and how do you compare them to the Shasta?

I have a 2010 Silverado 1500 that tows it.

Growing up we had a Terry, and a Prowler. I towed a Prowler once, and it was ungodly. We love the Shasta, and compared to the Terry we had, I put the Shasta Revere right there with it. We looked at many many TV before we bought the Shasta, and some had a little more options then others, but for what we wanted and with 3 kids, and for the price, the Shasta was right for us. I never heard of any major issues with them, even when I was camping as a kid in De. The campground was loaded with Shasta more then any other campers.

The best thing with mine, is we own it! ! so if we decide to sell it, we can get my 5ther.
