RV Repair Club

I am very happy to have found this forum! My wife and I bought a Phoenix RD34 about a year ago and are just getting accustomed to the world of RVing. I look forward to using this forum for answers to many questions. Thanks

Now...
Ever since we bought the fifth wheel, hardly a week goes by that I don't get an invitation to join RV Repair Club. Can anyone give me some direction on whether this is money well spent?

Never heard of it. Maybe it's something your dealer is promoting. Do a search for reviews. I just did and there are lots of people who say it's a waste of money. They charge $40 for membership and people who bought into it say once you see the videos there's nothing else to it. Some say you can find better videos on youtube.

Here is what they say on http://www.irv2.com.
"There are a zillion "free videos" on RV topics on YouTube, some from the component vendor or manufacturer themselves."

I responded to the RV repair club and signed up for the free part to try and see if it was any good. Really didn't get much out of it other than being hit up to join the paid part. Lots of advertisement emails. I then "tried" to unsubscribe. I kept only getting a Thanks for signing up response. I was finally able to unsubscribe after about the 5th attempt over several weeks. The folks on this forum are great about information and help too. I see no reason to spend money on a paid site. My 2 cents.

A big X2 on that. Why pay for something you can get free here. If you have a problem with something, the people here are great. There's a lot of documents in the Library section for download and the sub-forums have so much it will take at least a year to read them all.

Just a warning, sometimes the humor on here can get a little dry.
