Shasta dinette cushions configuration

Hiya all,

Probably a pretty basic question here...

I've owned my camper for 3 years, just the wife and I. I've never needed to make the dinette a bed and was just poking around with it last night.

Is there a secret configuration to make the cushions fit nicely?

2018 Shasta Oasis 18fq, If that helps! Google searches for pics of it in bed form are lacking.

Thanks in Advance

Kylw

It's a little hard to tell from the dinette picture, but maybe 1 back cushion horizontal (flat) and the other back cushion vertical, like a headboard?

Maybe someone with an 18FQ can chime in here.

I tried that, that is how they fit the best. But not as snug as I remember the cushions being in my parents camper when I was growing up.

I remember being shown how to do it at the dealer and thinking "well that seems pretty straight forward" ....but here I am lol

Pictures of your dinette setup will provide information for someone to help you.

Is there a suggested image hosting site? Or should I just upload them here?

Looking at the floor plan your dinette is basic where the table lays down between the benches creating the center part of the bed. Place the back cushions on the seats at the head and foot. Place the seat cushions in position with the two meeting in the middle in a upside-down 'V', then push the peak of the 'V' down forcing the cushions flat. It works the same in many square 'U' shaped dinettes.
