The same folks who bring you Westlake, Constancy, Castlerock, and Vail Sport.

I think it comes down to what type Chinese food the Lionshead procurement guy wants when he is in China letting contracts.

Hunan = Westlake

Sichuan = Vail Sport

Guangdong = Ridgeway

Shangdong = Constancy

Jiangsu = Castlerock

remember who you really should blame the Government. They give the the lowest requirements needed and they do it. More people should complaint and maybe they will fix it.

Why not spend less and get a proven tire. Sailun has the best rep of any but the Endurance is coming strong. Just too new to be sure yet.

I had Westlake on my 5th wheel when we bought it almost 2 years ago. Put over 12,000 miles on them before changing. Probably would have gotten another 3-4 thousand miles had I rotated them. No problems at all with them.

So you like that spicy Hunan food huh?

I've run a set of OEM Westlakes thousamds of miles and never had an issue also, and a set of Castlerocks too. I don't buy into the China bomb banter, and am of the opinion that a lot of what is read on RV boards regarding it is owner / operator error, abuse, call it what you will with a good dose of road hazard thrown in for good measure.

I would have bought Westlakes again had the dealer had them. I decided on Carlisles after reading several of the threads about tires. Now wish I hadn't bought them. After putting over 2600 miles on them I found that my fuel mileage has dropped by over 2 mpg, or about 16%. I had considered GY Endurance but they were $60 more per tire.

Well I have had the GY Endurance tires on my current camper for over two years and I love em and they help improve mileage and roll so much better. To me they have proven to be a very good tire. Besides I buy American made products which these are and made close to me in AL. Later RJD

But wasn't your RAM made in Saltillo, Mexico ? Or did they move production to Michigan as FCA said they would ? I know my 2015 RAM 2500 was built in Mexico

I've been running my Shangdong = Constancy tires since June 2015...Coast to Coast and everywhere in between now with about 6K or so miles on them with no issues however, when I do replace I'm leaning towards the GY Endurance.

Constancy Tires

I have Constancy tires on my Phoenix and have a little over 2000 miles on them. Because of all the negative comments on the Chinese tires, I too will replace them come summer. I am looking at the Sailuns and the Endurance, maybe even others but will go with what I get the best reports on. One winter 1000 mile trip first!

Recent Price Increase on Endurance Tires

I have been planning to replace the Constancy tire that came on our new Phoenix with the Endurance tire before summer, and have been tracking the prices on the web posted by, Discount Tire. Well I got a Big shock when I read todays asking price. Cost has increased about $30, making it about $200 plus tax and mounting per tire.

Has anyone else checked prices lately and know why, Tariffs maybe, on materials? Tire's is made in the USA but material, like Rubber, is imported.

I bought mine just before Christmas and had a Good year discount coupon which bought it down to around $140 per tire mounted and balanced. Later RJD
