Top bunk removed by previous owner
Newbie here. Just purchased a '14 Shasta Revere 27bh. The previous owner removed the top bunk and I would like to put one back in. I've looked online for bunk parts and can't seem to find any. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look?
I'm also thinking I could build it myself but not sure how to construct it. I tried looking for pictures online of a bunk so I can replicate it but couldn't find anything.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a pic of the area and where the original one mounted?

This pic is what they sent me before I purchased it. I bought it before they loaded pics on their website and I didn't take any pics when I was there. I pick it up next weekend.
It appears they put a piece of trim in place where the bunk was.

We have a Coachmen Chaparral 360 IBL which has a different bunk set up than yours. We took both bunks out and made it my craftroom. Here are some pictures of how our top bunk looked as DH was taking it out. Hope this helps

Come closer.....
Drawers I make are patterned after the way they did in the 40's.....Inner locking corners with either false front or solid front......

Are you sure you want it back? We have a Solaire 267bhsk, and we found it very very cramped, not to mention there was no air flow, your air vent looks like it's in the same place as ours. Just my two cents. Mine was like 2 x 3 frame around outside walls with bracing across in the middle, spaced evenly with laminate plywood top and bottom, attached to walls with screws. We put it on top of the bottom bunk so we could keep it for the future.

Just remember, you need 1/2" on each side of drawer for runners

The photo looks to show the second mattress stacked so that is easy. It looks maybe similar to our 26dbh in the layout. If so it is just some 2x3 and poorly cut flake board plywood.

That's exactly what i was looking for, thank you very much.
We have 3 kids plus their friends so the additional bed is definitely something we want to put back in.
The lack of circulation makes sense, perhaps a small fan could remedy that.

I don't think I can add anything as far as reconstructing that bunk goes, but I would like to add my thoughts on how to plan for bunk removal. In my previous Rockwood I saved all parts to put the bunk back the way it was before I removed it. I took lots of pictures too. In my current trailer, I removed 2/3 of the upper bunk leaving 1/3 as a shelf. It makes it much better for the adult occupant! But at selling time I can reconstruct the bunk almost as it was. So, my advice is to save as much as you can and take pictures. When you sell, you can assume the buyer will most likely want that upper bunk!

Here are a couple pics of the area without the bunk. You will notice the wall matching trim they put around where the bunk attached to the wall.
I'm thinking that once i remove the piece of trim, the screw holes will be visible and i know where to mount the new lumber. I believe 2x3.
Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
