Why is Shasta not listed on the FR main page

Was just reading about Shasta RVs on another forum and looked up their main page. I was surprised when I looked at the brochure and it was a forest River product. Wondering why FR does not have them as a product on their main site?

It may be what you are referring to as their "main" site. Not sure of their division hierarchy, but Shasta is listed as one of their main branches here, along with Forest River RV, Prime Time, Coachman, Palomino and Dynamax:

Recreational Vehicles | Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheel, Tent Campers

The confusion with names may be if going to the Forest River RV site. FR RV is a division of FR, Inc.

I guess it's kind of like New York, New York. City and State with same name.

That would be it, I go in and hit 5th wheels and it was not there. I now notice Primetime is not in that list as well but out on the main part.

Was Shasta an independent company at one time and bought out in the same fashion as Primetime?

Oh yeah, Shasta originated in 1941. Forest River, Inc didn't come around till way later.
