2012 A122 Value (Private Sale)

I would like to sell my A122 to purchase an R-Pod 177 and I am not sure what a fair sale price would be. I do not want to negotiate with people, I am looking for a selling point that is fair to me and the buyer. I am not trying to get every penny that I can out of the deal, just a quick sale that is reasonable for both sides. My camper is in like new condition. I would like to get $7K for it, but I`m not sure if this is a realistic price for a fair deal.
I tried to look for other private sale A122`s to see what other people are asking, but I can only find dealer stuff and they are in fantasy land with their asking prices and are willing to play the negotiation game.
I am just looking for some opinions on where to start. Thanks!!

Go to NADA.com and look up 2012 Rockwood A122. Without any additional options, low retail is 7790; average retail is 9390.

Thanks for the info. I had already browsed NADA and a couple other sites to get a rough idea where to start and that's where I came up with the $7K figure. I was just trying to see if I could get some opinions if I`m in the ballpark with the price. I will soon find out when I list it next week.
Thanks again for the reply!

I wish I would have known this 3 weeks ago. I just bought a 2011 from backleys for $8100.
It's a rockwood a128.

It really depend on how fast you want to sell. If time is important, then $7K will likely make the sale. I sold my then 9 year old Fleetwood Niagara for $5000 (list of $12000 when new) to the first of five callers on the first day. I wish I had asked more.

If time is not very important the I'd try an $8500 or $9000 no haggle price and be firm if people start to haggle. If that doesn't work, then put out a new add at a lower price and try again. Make sure to put photos in the add, it really helps.

I agree with poo
I paid $8100 but they checked it all over and I have a 3 month warranty.
They did go over the whole thing and Recaulked everything. They did a great job.
But I think you could get $7900 easy.

Finally got the camper listed for sale in the classified section. I may even buy a new A 122 BH model if I can get it special ordered with the risers and 15in wheels like the A 122TH model. I have no expectations that Forest River would do that, but if not, I will just buy an R-Pod with the riser kit. We shall see....
