Some of these shots REALLY need to be entered in the photo contest on FROG - Forest River Owners Group.

Yes, we've had them for only a few months and now we're hooked. We carry them on top of our Kia Sorrento, on their sides using J-hook carriers. I saw your pic in your earlier thread and had to do a double-take, looks so similar to our setup.

We arrived after dark and we couldn't see a thing! We ended up boon docking in the horse lot, lol! In the morning we drove through the park to see where the campground really was.

We were there in 2010. The road there was terrible; washboard all the way. Has it been improved or did your camper take a beating? There's a rustic ranch/motel partway along the Sandcreek road (turnoff from Toadstool Rd south of the Park) where they serve great meals. It's called the High Plains Drifter Cook Shack and Bunkhouse. We stayed there and pigged out--this was before we bought our Aframe.

For those with little ones, yes you can comfortably set up a Pack-n-Play in an A126. On this trip it was 2 mommies, my friend's 1yr old and my 4yr old.

Hamguy,
The road was AWEFUL!!!!!!! It was 40 miles of nasty gravel road with parts of it under construction. I didn't even know gravel roads could be under construction!
Yes, the camper took a beating. When I opened her up the fridge was open with stuff everywhere, the microwave door had come off, the screws had come completely out of one of the small tables, it was a wreck. It took me about 20 minutes to clean before I let the kids inside. Amen for Clorox wipes and vinyl flooring!
Good news is that the park was beautiful and the camper held up. You can't tell she was put through 40 miles of nasty gravel (20 miles in, 20 miles out).
Now I suppose I should learn how to tighten the lug nuts....

Your experience sounds like ours on the Dempster Highway to Inuvik last summer. That was 1000 miles of mud and potholes. (I chronicled the entire 10-week trip in the thread "Iowa to Alaska with our A128." Methinks it's still on the forum.)
I've taken out the microwave and put a door on the cabinet where it was. Other damage I've slowly repaired--including retightening or replacing screws holding various cabinets and shelves in place. The microwave cabinet had started to come away from the wall, as had the sink cabinet. All fixed now I hope.

We actually use our microwave quite a bit. Eggos makes these great mini pancakes with the syrup already in them. They make for easy quick breakfasts. What I haven't used yet is the propane stove. Too many safety issues in such close quarters with my 2 rambunctious little boys or my friend's toddler. The stove instead makes for great extended counter space.
Indeed a ratchet screwdriver is my number one tool in the camper. Things seem to come loose a lot easier than they did in my B+. It seems like the only thing I haven't had to tighten is the toilet!

IndyRC, your screen room and campsite space look good.
So now I'm curious...
Where is the location of Gulf Shores Park? Alabama, Lousiana, other?
also:
Is that a tiki/patio torch type thingie on the front deck?
Thanks,
Deb

Thanks. We put the screen room room up once in the driveway and then again on this trip. It was much easier the second time and we love it!
We were in Gulf Shores, AL. I think I found it recommended by searching this site.

@RenFaire Camper:
Ah, there we go! I knew you'd have some interesting photos.
@IndyRC:
Neat! For sure, those tiki torches will keep away any bad spirits.
