We have been out a few times this winter.. Went to Catalina state park and it was beautiful.. Hook ups there have water and electric. It has some of the nicest showers we have ever seen in all our camping days.

In November we camped at Fool Hollow campground... It is in the White Mountains and very crowed in summer time but in winter it was mostly empty. We were one of 4 in our loop.
We have added a flat screen tv that makes staying under the covers in the morning even more fun. In Jan we will be going to Kartchner Caverns. Happy New Years everyone...

Great pics everyone!
btw Tomscat,
It looks like you are using a wall mount set up for your new flat screen TV. Our little flat screen/DVD player is extremely light weight and now you have intrigued me by your mounting system...
I'm curious, surely you don't leave it mounted during travel... or do you?

Happy New Year everyone!

Gregory, we have mounted the flat screen tv to the wall that goes down first. When we close up the camper I put a pillow under the tv so that it rests on the pillow for travel and storage. It has worked great so far. We have the permanent bed unit and we have a foam mattress topper too so there isn't much space to fill.

Cool idea!
One more question: did the mounting bracket come with the TV or is it (for lack of a better term) after market?

Thanks
Deb

The tv and the bracket were bought separate... Also hubby brought several different screws, nuts and bolts in different lengths to make sure we would have what we needed. Mounting screws that came with bracket were not what he wanted to use. He installed while we were camping.

Camping in winter it gets dark and cold early here in the desert so I have really enjoyed watching old movies till bed time or it warms up a little.
In the summer I doubt the tv will get as much use.
Btw the netting that was on the back side we moved to the front side.

As promised, photos from a New Year's trip to Catalina SP in Arizona. It snowed in the high country the first night. Truly a beautiful trip and only our second one out.
