A Frame Redecoration

Here are some before & after photos of my redecorating attempts on our new A192HW. I am pleased with the results! I used mostly vintage fabric.

It really brightened up the interior. I love the fabric. Wish my wife would make new curtains and things for ours but since I'm a quilter I'll probably end up doing it.

Glad to see your bubble window got fixed. It looks like they used that great 3M extreme sealing tape, is that right? I need to do that on mine, though this is the start of season 4 with the camper and it hasn't leaked yet. Best if I put the tape on before it does.

They used the tape as a temporary fix and ordered a new replacement window which is all installed and I am picking up tomorrow. After reading about all the window issues I will keep a close eye on it. I would be tempted to use the tape if it came in a tan color to match the camper. It looks like an eye sore in white but I guess it is better than water damage!

Looking more closely at the photo of your camper with the taped window, that may not be the tape I was thinking of, which is translucent rather than white. It still wouldn't look top flight on the tan though, I agree.

Not being sure how it would look on my older white roof is one reason I haven't put the tape on mine yet, though I bought the tape two years ago during a sale. It's also the kind of thing one wants to be sure and get on straight and even, and it sticks so well there's no room for error. Intimidating, in a word.

A couple of others here have put the tape on their campers and I guess it has weathered well, in case you ever decide to do it.

The tape they used was StickNBond by Leisure Time. They gave us the rest of the roll just in case and it is VERY sticky and requires quite a bit of prep work and finesse to get it installed properly including rolling with a brayer. I am picking up our repaired unit today and I hope it looks like it was from the factory and they were able to get all the sticky residue off!
