Kinnikinnick, the seminar schedule isn't out yet, it's still in process. Last I saw, they are almost filled up. They reserved 50 sites, but if you are planning on going, just contact John at the email listed above to ask him how many more spots are available. I will post a note back to this thread as I hear of anymore info regarding the seminars and such.

That's like living in the stone age or something, isn't it? Or at least pre Feb 4, 2004, which to my kids is close enough.

Don't do Facebook, either. Don't see enough benefit returned for allowing Facebook to sell my (and my friends') personal information to whoever they can get to buy it. The other Facebook drawback is having to keep up with the ever-changing interface and privacy settings.

Of course, they aren't the only company doing this. The worst scammers are the credit reporting companies who collect your information without your permission, sell it to almost anybody, and manage to totally avoid any liability for getting your information wrong.

still a stone-ager
just my thoughts, yours may differ

Neither do we (and I have worked in I.T. for 30 years!) It pains me when people setup things on that site because not everyone uses it and you can't get to much of the content of these types of things if you don't have an account. Well, I should say if you don't use your account (I have an account in my name but never use it and have no information in it.)

Ya, pretty much. I did Facebook for a while while my kids were young to keep track of there online presence. Now I ignore it and don't miss the ever changing everything about it, as you say.

Just a cave man in his man cave.

Here is an update on the upcoming A-Frame Techfest. I am told there are 40 sign ups and still a few open sites for those who are still thinking of attending. There will be a nice mixture of brands and anticipate great info to be gained. This note is the most recent from John Pfeil - the event organizer.

Hello Folks

May 15th which is a little over a month away is the cutoff date for the Aframe Tech Rally which is June 17 to the 21 to make reservation at the KOA in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Several here over the last two weeks have stated they will be attending the rally but may not have a camper. This is fine as there are full service cabins available and basic cabins available. The KOA does charge a entry fee if you do not camp there so that you know this and also you have the registration fee for the seminars.

Those who have stated they will be attending need to submit their registration fee before May 1st otherwise it will be $30.00 at the door or mailed in after the 1st. Also an email needs to be sent directly to me with the names of those attending and the brand of aframe you have.

For those who have registered we look forward to seeing you there. A schedule will be posted lated this month so please watch your emails. My email address is (pfeil5787@aol.com).

If you have not email me already please do so this week.

Thanks John

(Please note, I am not John. I am only posting this update on his behalf for the A-Frame community. )
