A122 Senaca Creek Wilderness Area

A few pics of my trip to Dolly Sods and Spruce Knob for some day hikes, I stayed at Senaca Shadows CG which was very nice.

This is a great climbing area, its about 900 feet, lots of options for top roping, lead climbing and just sight seeing.

My brother has a vacation place in Thomas, WV. beautiful place. His photos of that region can be found here: http://exploro-orbis-terrarum.smugmug.com/ (amongst many other photos...)

I'd expect some of his fall shots to show up there soon.

Thomas WV is near Canaan Valley, Black Water Falls SP, and numerous other areas that are beautiful. I have a very similar photo collection from that area. Nelson Rocks is a fun area to show non-climbers the thrill of height exposure.

Your brother is lucky to have a place out there.

Absolutely... We have enjoyed visits to all those places. The op points out a great potential camping location form future visits!
