A122s Countertop Trim Loose

Inside my 2014 a122s.. the edge trim around the microwave cabinet countertop is coming loose. It seems to fit into a groove along the edge... but now it's popping out. Anybody else have this problem? I'm thinking super glue?

It's an age old problem with pop ups. I am not sure super glue is the proper adhesive for the porous countertop underneath. IDK the best but did run across this chart the other day. Gorilla Glue is my goto these days if the materials can be clamped.

Kinda odd... the trim on the sink countertop is fine. .. it's only the microwave cabinet that is coming loose.

I had the problem in places on my old popup and we will all likely have it to some extent in our a-frames due to the use of similar lightweight counter top material.

The rubber molding started to do that on the kitchen cabinet. I just tapped it back in with a rubber mallet. That was 3 years ago.
