A128 a/c condensate leak

Hi, I have a 2014 A128 that leaks a/c condensate into the cabin and rear storage unless the trailer is unlevel (higher at tongue end) and tilted so it's leaning to left side. The clear drain hoses appear to be above the drain pan. Anybody else experienced this?

Welcome to the forum Dan.

Mine has never leaked inside. I usually level with the service side a slight bit lower to aid in drainage. A practice from my old pop up days with a roof top AC. It sounds like you situation requires excessive tilting.

If you are not far from the dealer, you might go inspect some other A-frame campers to see how they are built compared to yours.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions. The dealer did not have any suggestions other then to level it in favor of the service side as you mentioned. What is odd is the manufacturer designed this with two drain tubes. Both of these tubes stick through the mesh protecting the a/c unit. They appear to actually curl upward rather then down making the water in the pan backup. I was hoping someone had modified this with a drain going through the pan and floor much as a tub would drain. Guess I'll be the first. Thanks again!

It struck me as odd too. I am just glad that my parking spot at home slopes in the right direction so I can run the AC when needed.

I have the Flagstaff 21QB HW, what I did is I drilled up from the bottom of the camper into the drain pan, then placed a 1/4" barbed hose connector and a 1/4"clear hose drain tube.
Then repeated for the other side and of course siliconed The barbed hose connector into the wood floor.

I have seen the same situation with my A122, however it never overflowed the drainer.
So this sounds silly .. but i stuck a small branch to compress the clear hose drains from the top, and voila ... it drains ...
Now ... i must admit, im a bit of a nut for leveling things .. both back/front and side to side, but compression of the clear hoses works for me ...
im thinking the problem could be simply a air lock issue ...
