I just got a call back from a RV shop telling me that the there is a TW rating for a TV with or without WDH, is this true?
It can be. It depends on the hitch receiver. If there are two different numbers it will be in the owner's manual or on the hitch receiver itself. Not all receiver's have 2 numbers as it totally depends on the hitch receiver's construction.

Common Weight Distribution and Sway Control Questions | etrailer.com

My 2008 GMC 2500HD Sierra's hitch has a rating sticker that shows the hitch's carrying weight of a 7500 pound camper with a maximum tongue weight of 1000 pounds. With a WD head, the receiver can tow a 13,000 pound camper with a 1500 pound tongue load.

It is also important to understand that that is the Hitch Receiver's rating and NOT the truck's. Just because the hitch can take it does not mean the truck can. What you can acutally tow is determined by the LOWEST rating of all your equipment.

Remember also that any cargo or passengers carried AFT of the rear axle counts against tongue weight.

Hope that helps.

The confirmation I got from here and from the Internet, the WDH will not solve my TW problem.

There are different TW ratings with or without WDH on my TV as indicated from the info I got from the Internet

The WDH gives 400# TW but that is not enough for approx 600# TW I need.

Oh well, I'm SOL using WDH but this saves me $800 from getting one.

Those are hitch ratings; not your tow vehicles ratings.
You still can not exceed those regardless of the hitch receiver you install.

For example, buying a hitch receiver rated for 25,000 pounds will not make your F-150 capable of pulling that.

I am still getting use to the improvements and changes they did in the FR app. Since this thread has over 20 pages of information, I go back here for references to help me with my AFrame. I just found out an easy way to jump to other pages easily

Viola, tap the page you want, also you could use the swipe action to go to the previous or next page, I like that too.

Too bad the pages in this app does not match the browser view pages.

Any link where we could find hints using this app?

Good job creator of this app, looking forward finding other hidden goodies...

Got it and thanks for your info, I'm not getting a WDH for my TV.

Power folding mirrors. I push a button every time I go in or out.

A second possible solution. If you have two singe doors side by side is to have the center support taken out and a new custom width door made. I was rough quoted $3K for that and decided I could push to button and the status qua has the benefit of keeping the DW parked on her side instead of the middle.

I have seen this too. TW is usually, but not universally, several hundred pounds higher with a WDH.

Experience in a little 124

First, you need a real cable to connect power. I have a weekender boat that takes shore power so the plugs are compatible. The dealership or Camping World will make sure you get the right cable. Once connected I tested everything out by running everything with a significant load at once (a/c, refrigerator, and microwave). I did not have a problem. I even added a small George Forman grill and still it did not pop the circuit breaker (either on the camper or in the house). Just make sure you have a beefy cable and a 30 amp fuse in your house before you try it.
