I'm thinking of the times, though, when she's too busy to go along. Like this coming week! I downloaded the app on both devices and tried it out. Still a few bugs to work out but one can hope the developers will get them ironed out.

Mounting Place for Remote Camera

Here are pics of how I use my gadgets to help me guide my parking and hitching. I already showed how I monitor the leveler bubble:

Another tool I'll be using next time to make it easier for the Bal leveler adjustments up or down.

Only my impact drill has enough torque to do the job, my battery and electric powered drills are to weak.

Magic Mesh Installed finally

Finally my Magic Mesh is installed. The size of the MM is too large for our door. I decided to use half the door and cut the mesh out on the other side leaving the strip of magnets. The excess length is use to wrap the rolled up mesh and held by Velcro for storage. Here are the pics to show what was done.

I got more Velcro tape from the dollar store and installed them from top to bottom, between gaps, on the frame edges. The gap spaces in the pic is now covered with Velcro.

So does the iPhone shut off (or stay on) when using this app?

I would hate to be in the middle of backing and have to get out and turn the phone back on.

The BlueCam Pro app has to be running in the foreground, the phone or any app that could run in background should remain active. What 2 apple devices are you planning to use?

When I use the pairing I was on for 5 minutes, it remained on. You could easily test it at home by monitoring something in another room and check how long it will remain on. In theory it will be on until you run out of battery.

I have an iPhone 3GS and an iPad I - will this work with the available software?

It should be fine, search for BlueCam Pro, make sure to install the iPad version for your iPad. Your devices should have iOS 6 or later, here is the spec of the app:

Herk, Bluecam pro was free for the iPhone (a couple of days ago, anyway) but the app for the iPad that was free was called Bluecam Free for iPad. They seem to play well together. Documentation is minimal. Took me a while to find the option to set one unit as the sender and the other as the receiver (it's the camera icon, upper right. I thought it was for taking a picture, but no). And the docs tell you to turn off wi-fi, only have Bluetooth on. Mine seemed to work with both services running; maybe turning off wi-fi is to save battery juice.

Thanks. Working on the camper all day today (supposed to storm at 5 PM). Once I get rained out, I will get this going while the Limoncello syrup is cooling.
