Well, I actually never figured it out.
100% of Ethanol is 200 Proof.

Start with 1.5L of 180 Proof Everclear (90% Ethanol - 6.33 cups) and add 5 cups of Water and 4 cups of dissolved sugar. Makes 11.33 cups of Hooch.

6.33/11.33 = 0.559 times 180 proof = 100 Proof or there abouts.

I was going by the Wiki article that claimed the % alcohol was from 31 - 34%. That might be the commercial grade stuff. Enough to knock my socks off, anyhoo, considering what this Shiner Premium at around 3.2 is doing to me as I tipe, teep, torp, hic, enter data.

I got a couple of cool gadgets to be added to my RV travel kit:

This replaces my old 8 years old cordless drill with dead batteries, it cost $39 to replace the old 18V nicad, so my excuse to get it. Too bad that this drill is not powerful enough to raise my Bal Leveler so I got the same brand drill but the impact type, it makes it so much easy to raise the rig but noisy. I recommend to use the impact drill because the torque of the other drill almost injured my wrist trying to raise the rig. Both drills were 50% off and uses the same batteries, it cost $49 for the 18V one hour fast charge nicad batteries, this means I got the other drill for $20 only... Lol

On sale for $6.99, I got 2. I will use the LED lights for inside the trailer and in my screen room, it has 20 hours life of LED lights and 20 mins of bright spot light. If by any chance I have to park in the dark, these spot lights will surely help create an imaginary driveway lines, my challenge is do the parking in less than 20 minutes.

I'm working on this mod posted here on another thread, I got this pic from TheHamguy1/Lee:

I could use my new drill to raise/lower my rig, I'll post a pic of my mod when completed. I was thinking of getting power tongue jacks, so this saves me a lot of money to buy more gadgets...lol

I got my friend with a drill press to smoothen the tread clean inside the coupler nut and drill a tiny hole thru the nut.
The attachment is easily removed, so I take it out when my trailer is parked for extra security too. I have the original handle handy so I could easily put it on with a pin and it works like before...awesome

Thanks to the ideas in this forum I was able to save money from getting a real electric tongue jack.

Happy Modding Our Trailer!

Always enjoy your mods. Where did you get the coupler? What is the coupler? Never seen one before.

Home Depot has them too. Look near where they have the threaded rods. Coupling nuts are for joining them together.

Carcorder app for recording your trip

My next trip will be in Bruce Peninsula National Park of Canada, Cyprus Lake campground; here is the link Parks Canada - Bruce Peninsula National Park - Cyprus Lake Campground
We have been camping there every year for the past 18 years, it is beautiful there and I could go there for the next 20 years again. This will be my first time with a trailer, I could imagine my group of friends being jealous of my A128S but I'm sure we will enjoy it together. With the screen room up, we may have everybody in it, 10 for sure are coming but maybe more. The kids will enjoy my HD TV, I have 2 TB drive with over 100 new movies in it, while the adults will be playing cards...I hope they don't bring that pictionary game, the ladies always win...lol

I'll try to experience dry camping with no water in the tanks and use my Champion 2k generator to charge all the batteries, gens are allowed between 8am-10pm. I have a power pack that could run my HD TV for 5 hours.

It is a 4.5 hour trip with 2 break stops, but this time if I'm alone, I will try to drive 3 hours straight and only 1 stop for break. I know I could go longer but my iPod can't, I'm using this apple app called Carcorder, which I use to video my trips with GPS information. Any interesting site I see in my trip, I just touch the screen to take a picture of it.

Carcorder's screen shot of my ceiling which represent the road. Max video it could capture is about 3.5 hours at 720p quality. I just dump the videos to my laptop during my break stop to clear the storage space.

If you plan to camp here, you will have to book it 4 months ahead.

Happy Camping!

The other related apps I found are mostly for US campsites.

The following free apps are in my iPod/apple devices, they work great in wifi, on your trips just go to a free hotspot location and use these to communicate via phone or texting for free:

I use MagicJack as my home phone, for less than $30 a year saves me lots of $, with an app for my iPod, it extends my phone to wherever I go. When I'm connected to wifi, it rings but I could always shut it off, you know do not disturb when camping...lol

Did you know with MagicJack, it could be set up to ring several times at home, if not picked up, it will forward the call to wherever you want it to go, mine will go to my cell...how cool is that! My iPod if online and cell will be ringing at the same time...luv technology!

TextMe app is both phone and texting, they give you free credits which you could use for calling anywhere in North America. Texting is free all the time, I use this because my cell provider charge me $ to text outside Canada.

The others are for phone app. Also some of the apps are available for the android devices.

Enjoy the free stuff while they are there!
