Aframe tied downs

Any folks use tie downs during hurricane warnings? I keep my trailer on a pad alongside the house. I'm thinking 75 mph winds may lift the rig.

Think positive, Erika may fall apart. If the camper is kept closed, I would think the house itself would divert some of the wind and the camper is rather heavy anyway.

The ratio of the weight to the vertical surface area on any folding camper is pretty high. There is relatively little to catch the wind compared to full height campers or mobile homes. Or houses.

I still had my pop up when Ike hit. I tapped the chocks tightly into the tires and put the stabilizers down and left it to ride out the storm with no problems.
