Any broken porta cassette cabinets on a194hw?

Hello, I picked up my a194hw yesterday and was surprised to find out that the cabinet enclosing the potty/shower unit is a frequent service problem when people sit on it. Has anyone had experience with this cabinet collapsing? Any experience or tips for reinforcing it to make it a usable seating space? Thanks!

It sure looks like the 2 cleats could use some beefing up. Maybe glue and screw a couple more in between the others?

Good Question, I have the same A194HW and I have notice that people who come in do sit on it since there is no where else to sit with the bed in use. I do not encourage people to sit and cringe every time someone does it but it would be nice to use. Maybe some others have ideas?

Thanks to you both. I will post here if I can figure out and complete a modification of some kind. Leaning toward creating a separate foldable self-supporting "bench" to overlay that area and give some use to the area.

Just found your post, Tamraking. I would be very interested to learn how you modify the potty/shower cabinet for some type of seating.
