X2. My sentiments exactly! I'll take Fall / pre-Winter ( cool ) camping weather anytime.

Been on the road since the first of July. From New Mexico through the Dakotas and on up into the UP of Michigan and now down to St Louis, then back to Las Cruces NM. Weather been in the high 90s most of the time, but coming from the desert the humidity is what's tuff for us. Like others we plan our outing early in the morning or later in the evening.
Wen have found the awing plays a big roll in keeping our unit cool and starting our Gen and running the air condition 15 min before we stop for lunch makes life a little more pleasant also.

Camped over the weekend in mid-90's weather. Yes, it was hot outside, however with the windows open and the fan-tastic fan running inside the RV it wasn't bad. During the days I ran the genset and a/c about an hour and then again before bed about 30 mins just to cool things off (and to excercise the genset).

Have spent the last 3 weekends (Thurs-Sun) out in 95+ temps in GA. We are doing the shakedown of our new fifth wheel. AC is still a problem but we did OK. Bring lots of bandannas.

I'm considering giving it a break until September also. This last weekend pushed me to my limit with the excessive heat warnings.

But I just noticed they are predicting temps in the 80s this weekend and next week. That could reinspire me.

We live in Florida. No temps over 100 but the humidity will knock you over. Our camping season is late October through April and even then we prefer a pool or Natural spring where the water temp is about 72. I get up at about 5 am and turn the AC down to about 66 for the hot days.
