Spent 5 days in western Oklahoma last week. Started out at a campground that had no 50 amps available. Didn't even last for 2 hours and packed up and headed to another campground with 50 amps. One AC just not doing it.
Was nice, the 4th day it even got down to 98 degrees. This was at 9 pm.

My answer would be NO !!!
Years ago one of our daughters though the house would heat up quicker if she set the thermostat @ 85,,, instead of the 68 that she was suppose to set it at !!! She then went off to school with it on 85,,, with no one home all day the furnace ran most of the day !!! All I will say is I made sure that that thermostat NEVER went above 70 again !!!

Just returned from a 15 day trip. Camped in SC, WV, and PA. Air conditioner worked like a charm.

In SC, we stayed a total of 4 nights at Colleton State Park. Site 3 and 9. Site 9 has a great view of the river. Colleton State Park is located off I-95, exit 68. Very inexpensive, clean and has the friendliest Park Ranger we have ever met.

In West Virginia, on our north bound trip, we stay at Rifrafter's, located off Rt 19 near Fayetteville, WV. It is a privately owned campground. It was OK, small sites, $40/night. We don't plan on staying there again, the sites were just too close together. On the return trip, we stayed two nights at Camp Creek State Park. Camp Creek State Park is situated just 2 ½ miles off Interstate 77 at exit 20. Camp Creek is a beautiful park, definitely our favorite site to date. Lots of hiking trails, clean, and inexpensive.

Enjoy your trip.

I'm getting worried that my camper will not be ready for my next camping trip. In August. In Texas. Just why did I agree to go on this trip? Can a fan really help enough?

The dealer has no ETA on the part.

What's hot? Just returned from an altitude of 6600 feet...
Highs in the 70s; nights it dropped down to the high 30s/low 40s.
