I only use the outdoor shower hose when I am flushing the unit,,, I have found that by removing the shower head,,, it is much easier to store the hose in the box !!!

My 2017 Columbus came with that coiled hose with a quick-connect fitting on one end and a multi-setting spray head on the other end. Many of the newer brands, including Cedar Creek, are installing them during production as standard equipment.

Now...if only we can get the RV manufacturers to put reachable and usable shut-off valves on them, then that might be a good thing!

Thanks Steve02 and OYO for the link. I like the faucet because of the quick disconnect.
When I dewinterized it was hard getting my hand and the hose connection up in that box. Then afterward fund out that water sprays up into the sink cabinet. <:-(

I've often thought of just putting something like one of these outside shower "tents" and snaking the outside shower hose into it.

I simply converted my outside shower by adding a 1/2" to 3/4" garden hose adapter with a quick disconnect to attach a 25' generic coil hose and sprayer. Cost about $25. Store the hose in storage compartment when not in use.

After camping in a basic pop up camper for 10-years, having an outside shower on the A frame is a luxury for us, especially when the campground shower is nasty. We have a little pop-up tent for privacy, and it feels great after a long, hot day.

Do you have someone stand guard outside your privacy tent ???

Going back to Monty's OP: This thing is fantastic.

The original never seemed to have enough preasure and the valve on the handle always leaked in the off position.

This one we just left on all week and used the trigger handle. And the different settings provid a variety of preasure/spray patterns for showering or cleaning equipment.

The install on our A213HW was 10 minutes or so.

Great find Monty!
