Sounds better than the table that came with older units. How much does the table cost? Do you have a part number handy?

I use mine when I have the screen room up so as not to get it wet. It’s a great place to put the coffee maker. But I do wish they would have made it out of a more weather resistant material, sounds like a good idea for a new project.

We too have a small portable table and use it. We used the folding table in our previous TT and it was too much trouble to move.

Love the little shelf

We use it every time we camp. Great place to put the items we don't want to leave on the picnic table - salt/pepper, paper towels, dog leashes, flashlight, etc. We take it down if we don't have the awning out, so it won't get wet.

I haven't used mine outside but use it all the time inside. I prefer taking along a small folding table since it can withstand the dewy mornings or unexpected showers and I can move it where ever it's needed

Okay don't want to buy the new shelf unless I absolutely have to. I have some old cutting boards and have been modifying, etc. That which has me stumped though is where to find the aluminum channel rail fitting. Anybody know where to get or if there is something that would work out of the box stores?

I bought the rail from Forest River. It was inexpensive, the shipping cost was more than the rail. Haha

I called FR parts dept and ordered directly from them. No dealer involved. 1 574-642-2640 - ask for Cathy, she is great help at deciphering what is needed. I believe this was called a c-channel rail....I told her I wanted the same rail parts as my exterior grill attaches onto ....you'll just need to tell her what length you want.
