I mounted an over the propane tanks rack on the front. The bikes put my tongue weight over 500lbs so I took heavy items out of the front storage bin and relocated them in back and put lighter items in the front bin.

You never know what you know until you ask someone!

bike rack, on trailer?

i tried for a while to find a similar solution. then found a front mount receiver hitch for my tv that allowed me to put a curt tray style bike rack on the front of my (e-150) van. main benefit is you don't restrict your access to the rear of tv or the front hatch on the trailer. you might check to see if something similar is available for your tv.

good luck,

Jodilc, can you use something like this on the back of your tow vehicle? You're only carrying 2 bikes at 50# right?

2011 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8293SS, 12K Equal-i-zer
2016 Ford F-250 XLT SuperCrew, 6.2L, 4x4, 6'9" bed, 3.73
Fondly remembered:
2010 Rockwood Roo 23SS (2012 - 2014)
2009 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew, 5.4L, 4x4, 5'6" bed (2012 - 2016)
