Regarding ko777ís question, we have a simple battery mod setup on our A122 thatís worked great. We upgraded the stock type 24 battery to a type 27 (had our dealer cut off the original battery rail insert to make room) and installed a small Blue Sea battery selector switch on its battery box. I hook up the original 24 when the 27 starts losing juice, which has been rare. Takes just a minute or two to connect the spare. We store the 24 in the truck, saving weight on the trailer.
After installing LEDs in our trailer, inside and out, weíve actually managed 5+ days on the type 27. This includes some use of the heater, shower and radio, charging phones and running lights at night. For down the road, we also have our eye on a reasonable solar rig thatís been discussed in previous posts: 120 Watt 120 w Folding Mono Crystalline Solar Panel for 12V or 24V Charging | eBay
