Changing From 14 Inch Wheels To 15 Inch

Looking at the A122 SXR Mike G just posted about got me thinking about 15 inch tires.

Has anyone swapped out their stock 14 inch wheels and tires for 15 inch? I know you can do a "riser lift kit" to gain more clearance for really larger tires. But I'm wondering if reasonably sized 15 inch tires and wheels will fit without a lift. Why do it? Going to a 15 inch rim and tire gives you a lot more tire choices. Time to get out the tape measure and do some checking...

It would be nice if they offered a Riser Lift and 15" wheel package option on all A-frames. I believe they do this on the R-Pod models.
Nice camper RedLdr1!

Depending on your tire size now, you may be able to find a 15" tire that is comparable. I did on a previous TT, was 1\2" bigger overall, but was able to get a D rated tire.

If you measured and accounted for wheel travel you should be OK. I went from 13" to 15" and did my own 6" lift, worked out fantastic.
