After boon docking for 4 days, mine started chattering. I could not find any problems. Noticed my lights were dimming, so ran an extension to a 15a outlet (just to charge battery) and the chirping stopped. Low battery, like D-mo said.

Just recently returned from a trip.

On the 8th(and last) night, at 1:30 am(always goes off when you are asleep), the d@mn thing starts screaming. The lights blinking on it showed that it had EOL(end of life). I tried everything; put a fan on it, pushed reset numerous times. There is no breaker for it because it runs off DC power. Tried to pull the fuse but apparently the fridge is on the same circuit. I had another alarm as a spare from my previous TT(with a 2001 date stamped on it). Pulled the fuse, clipped the red/black wires, spliced the red/black wires to the spare with wire nuts, replaced the fuse, and all is well!

May have to get another spare!

So what I have on my A128S monitors both CO2 and propane gas? Nice to know about the reset, thanks.

The detector on my 122S prominently says "Carbon Monoxide/Propane Gas detector."
