Colorado--Jefferson Lake

We camped at Lodgepole Campground--Pike National Forest--outside of Jefferson, CO. The Forest Service information said that fires were allowed but we learned the each county can institute its own fire ban...and Park County has a complete ban on all fires. So check with the county, not the forest service. We were able to use our outdoor stove. Just an FYI for Colorado campers. This photo is Jefferson Lake, about 3 mi above the campground.

This changes often for good reason. Several restrictions were literally lifted today, though.
