Countertop replacement?

Has anyone out there replaced the countertop above the microwave?
The particle board on mine has warped and the rubber seal around the outside has fallen off. None of the other surfaces show the same wear. I'm not seeing any water leaks. I've had the trailer for about a year and a half now and noticed this problem starting pretty much right away.
I'm not wanting to deal with the dealer or warranty baloney. It looks easy enough to remove. Should I try to get a replacement through FR, or make my own. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ours started warping a few months after purchase. We had the dealer replace it under warrantee. It's starting to warp again but we are now out of warrantee. We'll probably replace it with a solid surface top once we get irritated enough. I'm sure it's not too difficult to remove though if you were looking at doing it yourself.

Thank you. That is exactly what I did this weekend. Removed the warped countertop and replaced with a nice stained and coated piece of pine. Looks way nicer than the original. It was a piece of cake really. Thankfully it wasn't glued at all. Just remove the microwave, radio, and 120v outlet to gain access to the screws that secure the countertop and you are good to go. Even slapped in a usb charger while I was at it.

Counter Top Replacement

I took out my Formica curved counter top under my front windows, took it to Home Depot and they replaced it with acrylic the same thickness and size for $245. What a deal! No problem with putting glasses with ice on it and worrying about the wetness underneath. AND it matches my other countertops perfectly. The stuff is unbreakable!

Who knows just how bad these pics will be, but they look good in the driveway.
I am also stealing an idea from another user. Getting rid of the awful dinette table and replacing with a round table. The frame is from my wife's drum kit seat (I'm sure she has more. LOL). Making planks to use for the second bed frame where the table was used, and doubling as a dinette side table.

Nice job. I'm thinking about the round table top using an old camera tripod for legs.

I love the space so much more since putting in the round table. Chadrock, Love the idea of using drum stand for table base! I've used my older camera tripod for my table base. Love the fact that it can fold down for travel and table height adjusts for dinner or coffee table heights.

We used planks to replace the large bulky table. It definitely adds versatility of the space. Still can use the bench cushions to make the bed as needed.
