Cover for AFrame A122S Unit

I am trying to locate a solid cover for my Rockwood A122S A-frame Unit
18 foot by 8 foot wide by 4 foot tall!

I contacted one local dealer who recommended a cover but it only had a 2 year warranty but it sounded somewhat quality, I believe it was a DuPont Brand but no thickness was mentioned.
Any ideas out there for perhaps obtaining a solid cover with a better warranty?? A price of $137 was quoted for a dealer ordered cover!

I use a camo tarp on my A122,

it is from HF, sized at about 11 x 15, and costs about $16 on sale.

I use a couple of rope ties front and back to the bumpers, and a couple of elastic ties here and there.

It lasts for a season, and that is fine with me.

When it's on, it is fairly snug, but some air still circulates, and there has not been any problem.

Good luck!

I use an 8X20 white tarp to cover my A122S. It covers the top but leaves the sides open to keep the air circulating, if that is within your spec. There is a long PVC pipe in the middle to act as a spreader bar. It attaches at a grommet with a rivet through a fender washer and is padded to keep the pipe from making direct contact with the top.

There are PVC spreaders with bungees attached to the rear bumper and over the front of the trailer frame It keeps the top clean, reflects heat and UV, is relatively easy to remove and recover while allowing me to have access to the inside, outside storage or service hatches.

Hi Pooneil. . I have seen you posting about your cover.. and the PC "spreader ".. I just can't picture how you are using the PVC. Do you have any photos showing how your cover works?

The photos I have online don't show it well. The spreader is an 8' length of PVC pipe that is attached to the grommets on the tarp. It sits under the tarp, across the width of the camper roof, just in front of the fan.

I'll try to get some more detailed photos soon.

I use my silver reflective popup Gizmo's to cover the roof area including a bath towel over each window to avoid scratches, all secured near the edges with a few pieces of 2 x 4.
