Does anyone use a carry out/indoor-outdoor stove on the A frame?

I bought my T12 DD used and it didn't come with a sidekick grill. However, I have a carry out stove (Suburban 2 burner) that went with a 2006 1640 LTD tent camper. Has anyone tried one on the side rail?
