We always cook outside unless the weather is really bad. Our first trailer did not have an outside kitchen so I used my coleman propane stove and dutch ovens. We do use the oven at times.

We carry a 2-burner propane stove I bought when I first started tent camping in 1976 or 1977. I'd really like to find a 2-burner stove that will hang on the side of the camper like the RVQ does. While the RVQ is good for cooking burgers, steaks, etc., it's a waste of propane to boil a pot of water. And the darn pancake batter keeps dropping down between the wire grid!

you can order one but they cost about 300.00 .I would like to sell my grill and buy one

We use the Coleman. I like the bigger cooking space.

Cut a pc of flattened expanded metal for our RVQ to keep things from falling thru the original grate. Works pretty good, easy to clean.

I love cooking with my stove , cooks great burgers . Was a little concerned with how close it is to camper sidewall but im always checking for excessive heat. the clearance provided by wall bracket seems fine .

Squirestewart, that's a great looking pan. How do you keep it so clean? Do you have other pieces to match? I was looking at GSI's graniteware for a plate.

When I was young I hung out at Waffle House and watched the cooks clean the grill. I get the pan very hot and fill with ice cubes and scrub till the cloth is hot. I have the cups in black still looking for more pieces.

Cheers,

What's the thinking about icecubes, rather than pouring water in? I was wondering why ice cubes are better?

I have a cast iron grill/griddle reversible I use on the RVQue........ I cut off the top deck of the grate with bolt cutters and the cast iron fits perfectly, so I can cook whatever in that and not get grease and all that stuff down into the body of the grill. Also keeps from a smelly grill stinking up the compartment and consequently the camper.

Use it most trips, although I tend to use the campfire as much as a I can, hobo packs and things we can cook on a stick/fork.

I've been using my Weber Q for years. The grill that came with my A-frame is still in the box tucked away in the attic over my garage.
