Does anyone use the stove that came with
the camper? This is my first year with the camper. So far, I cooked on the picnic table with my old backpacking gas stove. Last time out, I saw someone using the stove on the side of their camper and started thinking, maybe I should use it. How do you cook most of your meals?
By the way, I am referring to the stove that slides onto the track on the outside of the camper. Did not make that clear above. thanks everyone.

Usually cook the greasy stuff outside and use the in side stove for veggies or noodles. We try to cook everything outside, but know that isn't always possible. Dutch ovens andother cast iron makes the food taste good too.

With the pop-up, we used the inside stove and the one that hung from the side of the camper. Did the same dwaynerz - if it was greasy, it got cooked outside.
With the fifth wheel, we use both often. Either for the extra space, or the cleanliness or whatnot.
Since owning the campers- I haven't used my Coleman propane stove except for the hurricane here at home. Had to heat bottles and make dinner in the garage (windows + garage door opened slightly) when the electricity went out.

Over the Memorial day weekend I used a Coleman portable grill to cook every meal we had.

The first year I had the A, I cooked with the microwave and grill & never used the stove. The second year, I used all three - microwave, stove and grill. I was reluctant to cook inside because I thought it would be a hassle with the propane, food odor and cooking mess but it turned out to be a silly worry. We cook bacon and anything else that might splatter on the grill (or precook at home & reheat at campsite). In my unit, I have removable table shelves that I use for additional counter space, often putting the dish rack on one side and use the interior dining table for food prep, etc. Spouse likes to use grill & when he's not with me, I primarily meal plan w/microwave in mind or very light stove-top cooking.
My stove is not removeable, are they making that an option now?

I use mine, but mainly for heating water for coffee when dry camping or heating up misc things, sometimes pancakes. I'm like the others, anything greasy gets cooked outside. My old popup and my current trailer both had the same setup...fixed three burner and outside grill. I used the heck out of the outside grill. I still carry a Coleman stove that I use for the greasy stuff a little way out from the trailer.

Ah .... use a weber Q120 most all of the time .. however in bad weather we use the indoor stovetop to boil water .. or to make coffee/toast bagels.
For outside cooking the weber Q takes the prize ... do steaks ..pizza ... smoke ribs... do eggs and bacon on a grill top ... it even makes great grilled cheeze sandwiches/whatever sandwiches for lunch.
If your enteraining a larger crowd ... we often go with a dutch oven ...which makes chili ... bread and roasted chicken ...
so . yea for boiling and toasting .. no for the gourmet meals .. \

DW has cooked a Thanksgiving dinner for 7 in our old trailer - we were on a ski trip in VT. It was a smaller turkey as a 22 lbs. just wouldn't fit. Currently we grill at home & warm it it when we camp (no steaks or burgers). For lobsters, we steam them outside on an old Coleman stove.
Not sure what I will do with the outside grill, probably will never use it.

While I used the daylights out of the RVQ with the Roo, I also use an electric skillet on a table outside. I bet in the 5 years we had the Roo, we only used the propane stove inside maybe 3 times. I prefer to cook outside where I have more room.
We carry a 2-burner propane stove I bought when I first started tent camping in 1976 or 1977. I'd really like to find a 2-burner stove that will hang on the side of the camper like the RVQ does. While the RVQ is good for cooking burgers, steaks, etc., it's a waste of propane to boil a pot of water. And the darn pancake batter keeps dropping down between the wire grid!

We used ours on the 08 all the time and on the 2012 since we got it, never had any grease on the side of the trailer.

I cook mainly on my Weber grille, but use my outside kitchen stove to fry fish. No fish tonight, chicken and ribs on the Weber!
