Question Does your trailer lean?

So I get my toy home and put it the garage because I wanted to Eternabond the skylights (whole other story) and notice the trailer leans on the drivers side about 3/4 - 1". I realize most the equipment is on that side, but that seems like a lot. I was going to lift it a little so I guess I will add an extra inch to that side.

Anyone have leaning issues?

Thanks

Carl

I've not noticed any. I'd like to check mine as a comparison. How did you measure your camper?

My 8282 WS rockwood leans drivers side also, about an inch. Two slides on that side and all the appliances.

Yes (Windjammers and V-Lites) lean (After) the (2) slides on (1) side are Deployed! Our V-Lite leans after (1) slide Deployment! This is (Why/How) we compensate ours! Youroo!!

Lol - I think since the question was posed in the A-Frame forum, it was a shout out to A-Frame owners. My answer is no, my A-Frame doesn't lean. It sits pretty squat.

Never thought about units with slides and leaning prob but have wondered about the balance of tent trailers. Have seen them catch wind and turn and saw one tip once. Thanks Youroo for the slide out visual.

Does your trailer lean?

Depends on if I am standing outside or sitting inside.

If inside yes it does lean......

We use 2 2x8 4ft long boards to usually put on the side that leaned. The length will get both wheels on the boards with some to spare so you can move forward or back some. We found out on our first V-light that this was a problem most of the time leaning and also cause the bath door to not close till we got it leveled out.

With our new V-light we usually do not have that problem do to the 3rd slide out, but we still carry the boards just in case. Later RJD

When I set up my v lite I set it up so its 1/2 a bubble off and when I put the slides out it ends up right on level.

I have an A122S, and I think the driver's side with the appliances is always a bit lower. I don't really notice it that much when I tow, but when I setup in campgrounds, I always have to put the wheel on that side on a leveling block to get it level.

It's important to me that this side be level or a bit higher than the door side, as this is the side of the A frame that my head rests against when I sleep!

Just measured my camper. The height of the trim just above the center of the hub is the same on both sides. 21 14/16.
