Super! Thank you for the info! I totally get it now. We have a small easy up and a larger screen room but the weather has been excellent both times so we haven't bothered to get them out. (yet!) lol

Mama - it's good to have options. Your A-Frame will allow you to use it in spaces other rvs may not allow due to space limitations. I carry a smaller lightweight canopy and a couple Costco beach umbrellas when I am solo camping without my large dogs. If the dogs go, then so does that commercial EZ Up. Haha

The Clam screen room and it's reviews online and by other A-Framers is on my list to purchase. Spouse wonders how many more canopies I will collect. Haha. I like the ease of set up that others report with the Clam. Since many of my trips are in the rain and wind, it seems a nice alternative to the heavy EZ Up.

Totally get that - we haven't attempted to take the dogs yet. We have two littles but they are active and NOT socialized so we wanted to be very sure of what we are doing before we introduce that. But I'm already researching ways to keep them in the camp site and occupied. Didn't think about putting them in an ezup type thing! Smart!!!

Yes the ez ups aren't real wind proof. Maybe we need to have a little camping equipment clearance sale and use the money made to buy new equipment! lol Oh my....it's true what they say. Camping is when you spend a fortune to live like a homeless person!

Bahaha Chuck! Girl trips are fun, but we stay up way too late laughing and sharing stories around the campfire. Good thing we camp amongst each other so no one gets annoyed. Send your wife! She'll have a great time! Here's a few photos (from this early summer trip) of what one might find when the ladies circle the trailers...

Some of the best interior decorating I've seen. Some of those shots could have been taken from a custom $1,000,000 Prevost bus......
