Electric Roof Lift System on A-Frames

Does anyone have a 2015 HW A-Frame? If so, did yours come with an electric roof lift system? I just saw a 2015 A212HW model with the lift system as a standard feature. It says FR is including this on all their HW's now.

I have the Power Roof Lift Assist system on our 2015 Flagstaff T21QBHW.

According to the Flagstaff website, and brochure, it is standard on the Hard Side: T19SCHW, T19QBHW, T21QBHW Only.

On the Rockwood side of the house their website, under Features and Options / Construction Features, says:

  • Power Roof Lift Assist (HS: A192HW, A194HW, A212HW Only)
That does cover all the High Wall models from both brands I can find so I guess it is all High Walls...

I recently purchased a 2015 Rockwood A192HW and it doesn't include a power lift system. The brochure says it does; but, the dealer says that's a misprint in the brochure. He said the new 2015 model A212HW, with a longer 14' box, has a power lift. My unit does have additional struts mounted on the outside corners to help raising the roof. These are new additions to the 2015 models.

Thanks for the info. I guess they just aren't consistent with their new upgrades.

dts3204--the rear storage area on the A194HW doesn't go the whole way through, only the front does.

The FR floor plan says it has "Exterior Sliding Storage" behind the CoolCat, just like the non-HW models. Suggesting the compartment is divided down the middle too.

As I remember, the rear storage area does pass through; but, the left (driver side) rear has a sliding tote box which fits half of the length. Remove this and you would have a full pass through. The right rear storage is much larger than the left because of the cool cat installation on the left.

That's interesting... My dealer has a 2015 T19QBHW and it is missing the lift system as well. But if it is truly a misprint they could darn sure correct the website as that is where I looked!

Our T21QBHW rear storage compartment is divided in half right down the middle. The passenger side is an open storage area accessible by a large cargo door or from under the bunk. The drivers side is divided in to two compartments. The front 2/3 is the the compartment for the CoolCat / Water Filter / Water Pump and Power Roof Lift wiring. The rear 1/3 is a slide out storage compartment. I would take some cutting to make the rear cargo area a pass thru accessible from both sides.

The differences of "with" or "without" lift system is probably because one is the mid-year model. One is a 2015 and the other is a 2015.5

Forest River did that on 2014 models with small changes in the same year with later in the year manufactured models

OH, so THAT's how they get away with things like that!

Thanks.
