Engagement trip in the A128s

So I got engaged to my fiancÚ this laste weekend while camping in out unit... Just set up Friday had some good grub then hit the hay. Next morning woke up early had some breakfast and we were off on the hike, once we made it to the top of Taquitz peak which is a 2800 foot elevation gain in 3.0 miles... Whoo quite the view. I asked her to marry me. She said yes! So headed back to camp for a celebration good meal and to watch the super moon. One of the best weekends ever!!!!!

Wonderful surprise, congrats! What a great way to start out, enjoying your Aframe together in such a beautiful place.

Here's wishing the two of you many years together!

We'll celebrate our 23rd on June 10.

Very cool. I live in Hemet and work in Idyllwild. Tahquitz is an awesome hike! Where is that campspot, is it a yellow post? Looks nice!
