Eternabond/3M Roof Perimeter

I have been reading all of the thread talking about the Eternabond or 3M tape around the skylights and vent over the past few weeks but I was wondering if anyone has applied the tape around the perimeter of the trailer where the metal trim meets the fiberglass? I have sealant cracking around this area as well and was wondering if this would be a good idea?

Thanks!

Last week I did a thorough inspection of that

perimeter, as I did have to use self-leveling rv caulk around the skylight.

To my surprise, the perimeter caulking looked great.

I did see a small crack showing in the caulk around the roof exhaust vent, and I applied some additional caulk to reinforce. Looked like a different caulk was used there.

I was glad to see the perimeter was still in great shape. I do keep a tarp halfway over the camper when it is not in use.

Happy camping, and good luck!
