Extreme tape around bubble windows

Has anyone used 3m extreme tape to seal their bubble windows? We have had problems and the dealer just squirts messy caulk all over the sides which is unsightly and cracks. I am thinking that the tape might be a better and more aesthetically pleasing option.

That is a very common solution to the bubble window issues, the tape is very effective and has been used by numerous members . The tape holds up very well and is used by dealers to fix leaks.

I used it on my aframe. You can find pictures here on the site of what mine looked like once it was applied.

Eternabond tape will work as well. I used it to seal my roof recently.

from experience 3m extreme is the way to go ... i tried externabond but have found it is extremely sticky and will never come off. dont get me wrong . its a great product, but using it as a finishing seal is extremely hard to do.
3m tape is removable .. dont ask me how .. but it is ...

Thanks,

Hopefully I do not need to remove the Eternabond tape. It is too late now anyhow. I did not know the 3M came off. Interesting.

With a heat gun, scraper and a lot of patience you can remove most tapes. The residue they leave behind is the real challenge....
