We have a family of 4 in our A frame, 2 boys on the dinette. we have set up a system, 2 go to the restroom/showers and 2 to change the dinette back to table while they are gone. We also use a stool at the table.

Thank you! We have a small A frame and Dodge truck. I will add pictures later. We have camped mostly in New England. We are planning a trip to WV in 2017.

My wife and I are expecting to do the same, we just bought a 2016 T21QBHW and are looking forward to our first outing still. We have a 16 month old and will try for another soon so we are hoping to keep camping til they out grow it. We figure that it will take awhile (10 years+???) before it gets to cramped and hopefully they will want to tent camp "by themselves" some too. We got the 21 over the 19 for the extra floor space and maybe a cot or sleeping bag could be used worst case. Please let me know how it works out with preteen and teenagers. Got some time but never to early to plan.

Congrats with the Aframe. We love our Aframe. We have Rockwood A122S. Now that we have tented and Tent trailer for a decade each, the convenience is great. 30 sec set up is great. Both boys, teen and preteen are on the dinette bed and hubby and I on the queen. We find the dinette table is too heavy to set up so only has the dinette set up as bed. We bought a small resin table that can be used for family of 4 in the trailer if it rains or snow too much. We bought flat under the bed plastic storage with wheels and stack them under the bed for storage. We bought resin shelves for over the microwave for stackig items such as suitcase or books. We replaced the spring mattress with foam as that make opening up to storage access easier. Now that we are set. We believe one kid will be able to sleep on a cot perpendicular to the beds or head to toe sleeping bags on back bed when they are bigger than us. We camped with our kids since they were babies so the space is luxurious to them when compare to tent and tent trailer. If you start your kids young, they will already see this small space as fun and just part of camping.

The kids should know that this is a lot of space compare to tenting. Luxury camping, tight but comfortable. We intend to camp with the kids until te kids are in University.
