Filling toilet flush tank in A frame

How do you get the water tank filled on the FR A frames? I know where to fill but it doesn't accept more than what the fill tube allows. Is there a valve that needs opened of which I don't see?

Fill the water from that filler cap in first pic. Its like a ptrap and always has water. The clear tube to the right is your fill line. I fill mine to about where my finger is. Currently mine should be topped off before next trip. Hope this helps

I thought the water came in from the city/freshwater tank. The green cap is removed to dump the waste. Button inside in the cassette flushes fresh water into the tank.

Not on the aframe toilet cassette unless older models are different? There is another green cap on the tank when you remove it to dump it out. I was told that it only holds enough water to fill the tank that way it wont overflow.

Well glarior I thought the same thing, but the clean water will fill the little waste tank a couple of times over, you have to account for all the other stuff beside fresh water that's going into the waste tank, I fill it up after every trip, but it's never more than half gone even , but my waste tank was full way before the water runs out.

I thought the same thing. I don't remember seeing a fill tank spout. I have to look at mine again.

You need to pull the cassette out from the toilet in order to fill it. 1/2 bottle of toilet chemicals and 1 quart of water

Evidently I have an upgraded toilet. It has connection to the water supplies.

We have a 2017 A213HW. Our cassette toilet is connected to our water supply also. It does not have a separate water tank of its own.

That's cool that the newest ones have a water line ran to them.
By the way you do not have to remove the cassette to fill with water, you simple pour water in the spout with the green cap the OP is pointing at in the first picture

That is a new feature. Mine is a 16 model and does not have it. Now I know they changed it in '17

I think they changed a few things in the 2017s. The skylights seem to be better/differently sealed from the factory as well.

That's a Thetford toilet. I suggest you do what we do when all else fails:

Thanks. However, the receiving tube will not accept any additional water other than what it takes to fill it up. I followed directions to remove the waste tank prior to filling but it does not help. Something is keeping it from filling or ??
